As a breastfeeding mum (and not a great drinker in any case) I am usually on soft drinks when going out or visiting friends, so when I was asked to review Shloer I happily accepted as I am already familiar with their product range.
Shloer produce a range of sparkling fruit juice drinks which usually retail around the £2 mark for 750ml, and are pitched almost as a ‘wine-like’ non-alcoholic drink for all the family. We were sent the Red Grape and the White Grape and Elderflower variants which we very much enjoyed.
The Red Grape is my favourite as it is not as sweet as some of the other available flavours and has a bite to it which I like. In general I do prefer sparkling drinks (as my fondness for a certain diet cola brand will testify) and sometimes find flat juices to be a bit ‘icky’ to drink. You do get the best of both with Shloer though as the sparkle is refreshing (especially when served from the fridge), but the drink is still made from all natural juices and has no artificial flavours, sweeteners or colours.
As I said, I do tend to drink soft drinks (and a fair bit of Shloer) when visiting or entertaining (ooh, get me!) but it is also a really nice drink day-to-day. I was sent two bottles of Shloer to try and barely got a look in as OH was happily knocking it back – which in itself has got to be a seal of approval!
Shloer is available from all major supermarkets in six variants (Red, White, Rose, White Grape & Elderflower, Apple & White Grape and White Grape, Raspberry & Cranberry) for around the £2 mark for 750ml.

Note: This is a supported post as Shloer provided samples of their product. I did not receive payment for this review.
