It’s All About Me!!

I first saw this challenge on Sticky Fingers (but originated by Kerry Jean Lister, based on a feature in The Guardian) and for some nutcase reason I asked to be tagged for it by Him Up North! So here we go…

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
There’s no one person, I admire many people in different ways.

When were you happiest?
When I was still on maternity leave, so not working but still getting money.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
When I was singing the line about Mr Cripple from Big Gay Al’s ‘I’m Super’ and a man limped past givng me evils.

Aside from property, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?
In actual terms a car – my lovely Punto, in relative terms, I once spent £50 on a book on eBay

What is your most treasured possession?
My Wicked programme signed by Idina Menzel, because it was signed in person.

Where would you like to live?
Still in this area, but in a bigger house, with a room of my very own to hang out in.

What’s your favourite smell?
My lads’ hair

Who would play you in the film of your life?
America Ferrara, but only dressed in her Ugly Betty costume – the eyebrows are sadly accurate.

What is your favourite book?
The Stand by Stephen King is my favourite, but Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is the one I go back to most.

What is your most unappealing habit?
I have been known to dig around in my nose a bit too much, but never in public!

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
Current size, Demis Roussos. If I lost a few pounds Lara Croft with huge…guns.

What is your earliest memory?
Falling off a gate at Upton Park and getting a nosebleed.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Watching The Cutting Edge over and over again. Oh, and Four Fat Brides, One Thin Dress (oh the shame!).

What do you owe your parents?
Everything

To whom would you most like to say sorry, and why?
Me for stuffing my face with cake and not taking up running.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Mr W, obviously!

What does love feel like?
A hot cuppa and homemade cake.

What was the best kiss of your life?
Ask me in a few years – I’ll keep my options open!

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Jesus, Oh For God’s Sake, Oh Bugger – all of which I have had to stop as biggest boy has started repeating 2 and 3.

What is the worst job you’ve done?
I did work experience in a school and, pardon my French, those kids were little chav arsetards!

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
I would travel more as a younger person.

What is the closest you’ve come to death?
I’ve never really been close to death, but did Bungee jump, so think it kind of counts!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Completing a coherent Masters Dissertation while suffering from hideous morning sickness.

When did you last cry, and why?
Tuesday afternoon cos I happened to catch the final ever episode of Friends. It was happy crying.

How do you relax?
Reading in the bath.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?
A sum of money where we could do what we wanted without penny pinching, but not be extravagant.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Take more chances, you may benefit.

So there we are. That’s me and I hope it’s not too repellant!

I hereby bestow the honour of this challenge on:

Kirsty at kirstyes.co.uk
Catherine at Crafty Little Blogger
Michelle at Old Fashioned Mummy
