Great shot – every child should get the chance to collect eggs.
Yeah, he doesn’t get to do it as often as I’d like as it’s at nanna’s house.
What a lovely photo, looks like he’s making sure he’s not missed any!
Yeah he was carrying the basket around for ages!
Love this picture!
Thanks, it was the best of the set.
“I wonder if she’ll leave me another egg….”
He did wait a long time before bringing the basket indoors!
It’s like he can’t bear to look at the eggs being taken away! Cute capture 🙂 x
Thanks!
“Okay, I’ll let you off this time, but tomorrow I want more, MORE eggs I tell you.” Cute. 🙂
It was a bit like a Mexican standoff!
I really love this pic!! i would have it up on the wall if it were mine, so simple but so lovely.
It’s made it as far as the computer but it’s on the print list!
chickens and children, a great combination, loved our chickens shame we had to move no space for any now 🙁
I know he loves them – I thought he’d be scared of them but he’s desperate or one to eat from his hand!
what a brilliant shot….love this so much
Thanks, me too!
That brings back memories. I used to love collecting eggs. We take the small one to a friend’s house so she gets to do it too.
It’s a lovely thing for them to do if they get the chance – at least there’s a fighting chance they won’t think eggs come from the supermarket already in a box!
Oh that’s really funny: “Come on then, lay it, I’m waiting!”
He was following that chicken round for ages…
In a freaky comicidence your double yoked fried egg picture was sent to my e-mail this morning! Bless your biggest boy for his egg collecting skills.
How strange! He’s had a bit more practice now, so only a couple broken!
Fantastic picture!
Thanks, it was the best one of the set.
Eek, I’m scared of chickens! But I love fresh eggs! LOL. Looks like he’s taking the job of collecting the eggs very seriously 🙂
Yes, and only a few breakages! The first time he did it we collected five and had five smashed – a bit too forceful into the basket…
What a fun moment!
Yeah it was funny to watch – wish I’d though to take some video too!
Lovely fresh eggs for breakfast, yum!
They are so much better fresh aren’t they?? The yolks are always so bright.
Oooh, love this shot!
Me too!
