Giveaway – I Am The Cookie Monster! – Now Closed

You may have gathered by reading my blog that I love food, especially sweet food and biscuits and a while ago I won one of Byron Bay Cookie Company’s Limited Edition Dark Chocolate and Orange cookies. It was delicious and so when I was offered the chance to try some more (ahem) I jumped at it.

Byron Bay Cookie Company is an Australian company producing a range of delicious cookies and they pride themselves on using only the best locally sourced ingredients and being aware of environmental issues. With this in mind, they now bake cookies in the UK to avoid adding to their Carbon Footprint. Their cookies are certified by the Vegetarian Society and some of the range is also Gluten Free.

But how do they taste? I’ve already said that the Chocolate Orange cookie is delicious and, given the time of year, it’s the perfect flavour – well, Christmas isn’t Christmas without Chocolate Orange! The cookies are available individually wrapped, or in multi-packs and the smell when unwrapping our multi-pack of Dark Chocolate and Orange was a heavenly, tangy orange scent – yums! If you need a big eat with a cuppa, then this is it as the cookies are massive and crammed full of dark chocolate chunks – you certainly don’t need more than one in a sitting (although I did try…).

As I said, we were sent a selection of flavours to try and we did have some favourites. Dark Chocolate Orange was a given for me, but the kids’ favourite was the Dotty – not surprising really, as it is full of colourful chocolate beans (like Smarties, you know). Mr W really loved the tangy Lemon and Macadamia and my other choice was the Sticky Date, Walnut and Ginger which had a nice bite to it.

In all honesty though, I’d have happily eaten any one of the flavours – my only difficulty was choosing just one!

This giveaway has now closed. The winners, as chosen using random.org, were Sarah Parker and Kirsty. They have both been informed today – congratulations!

So, you’ve read the review, how would you like to win – yes WIN – a selection of Byron Bay Cookies?? Hmm? They’re tasty….

I have two selections to give away and it’s easy to enter by doing the following:

Browse the Byron Bay Cookie Company’s website and comment on this post telling me which you like the most, and leaving me a way of getting in touch with you

For an extra, sneaky entry, tweet the following: I’ve entered to win @byronbaycookie with @svmitche http://bit.ly/sazOhi

And comment to tell me you’ve done so.

Important Notes: The competition will end at 10pm on Friday 23rd December and a winner will be selected at random and notified the next day. If I have not heard from the winner by Tuesday 27th December, then I will select another. Cookies will be dispatched direct from The Byron Bay Cookie Company but, due to the competition dates, will probably not reach you until after Christmas. UK entrants only please. Good luck!

Disclosure: I was sent a selection of Byron Bay Cookies to try but all opinions expressed are my own.
