Well, what a week! No plan from me last week, as I’v e been a bit off kilter for the past few weeks. Mr W has been home from work on holiday for a month, he was supposed to be studying, but has actually been ill, so I’ve just not been planning, or properly supermarket shopping so the budget is blown out the window and we’ve been having really bitty meals. But this week I’ve planned and I’ve shopped, so hopefully we’ll be doing a bit better.
It’s a bit of an odd plan this week though as I’ll be eating mostly leftovers! I keep cooking stuff that it then turns out the family don’t like, so I have loads of those takeaway pots in the freezer. My mission this week is to clear a bit of freezer space by eating them, while at the same time cooking fresh food for my family (!).
So here we go then:
Saturday – Mummy Chinese with chums, Daddy/Kids Fish fingers and chips
Sunday – Rump steak with pepper sauce and veg/potatoes
Monday – Pasta/Pesto/Salad for kids and Daddy, Pasta Puttanesca for mummy
Tuesday – Stroganoff leftovers for Mum/ Sausages, beans for kids
Wednesday – Curry leftovers for Mum/Pukka pie and chips for others
Thursday – Jacket potatoes, salad
Friday – Bacon and brie baguette
