I have been lucky enough to travel to quite a few places around the world, including being funded by work for a trip to Australia, but the older I get, the more places in the world I really want to see. This is a picture post, showing you some the trips I’d like to make and the destinations (see what I did there) I’d like to visit.
New York – I love the look of the Chrysler Building and there are so many iconic buildings in New York, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Guggenheim Museum – and, of course, the Theatre! If I won the lottery, I’d got to New York and not come home until I’d seen all the shows I wanted to see on Broadway.
I’d love to go to Japan, not only for the beautiful ancient buildings and so forth, but also for the quirky, modern side of Japan, and I really need to go to one of those private karaoke places!!
I don’t know why, but I fancy visiting Estonia. I have been to Moscow and St Petersburg and imagine Tallinn to be similar. My friend recently visited Tallinn and brought me back a postcard, so that will have to do for now.
These are only three of my ‘places to visit’, there are many more on my list – perhaps when the kids are bigger we can start broadening our horizons again. What are your ‘places to visit’? Is there anywhere else I should add to my list?
