The A-Z Challenge – F is for Four – #atozchallenge

You might know that my friends and I spend a little too much time obsessing over Divergent, Veronica Roth’s brilliant debut novel. I won’t explain it all here, as I’ve already reviewed it, but suffice to say I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the second in the trilogy, Insurgent, coming out in May.

I do have to confess that I’m a little bit in love with Four, the lead male character – which is quite indecent as he’s only supposed to be 18 – but he’s a really well written, wise young man and I’m looking forward to reading more about him in the next two novels.

I’ve been trying for a while this evening to find a photo of some young man to illustrate this post, and what Four might look like, but I’ve failed – I think the difficulty is that when you form an idea about a character as you read, you can’t quite match it up in reality! So, this post will have to remain boring and pictureless, but if you get a chance to read Divergent and form an opinion about this wise, tortured and courageous young (sadly fictional) man, then I would urge you to do so!

Aahhh Four – how many ways do we love you? (Hint. Actually more than four ;o).
