Meal Planning Monday – 23rd April 2012 – #MealPlanningMonday

Last week went quite well all told, but then it was a pretty simple week. I have to say I really enjoyed the traditional Sunday roast, so might put that in the plan more – I have finally mastered the art of the Yorkshire Pudding (thanks BBC!), so that was a highlight.

The chicken dish turned into a slow cooker concoction of Chicken, white wine and apricots and that was lovely so I might add it again.

This week’s plan is another one where I try to clear a bit of room in the freezer, so I am mostly on leftovers this week, while the rest of the family have the following:

Saturday – Salmon for me, Cod steak for them
Sunday – Chicken roast dinner
Monday – Gammon & Potatoes
Tuesday – Spagetti Carbonara
Wednesday – Pie and chips
Thursday – Fish Cakes, Chips, Veg
Friday – POT LUCK

So, fairly simple again and a pot luck on Friday as Mr W has to go to hospital for the day, so we may end up with something takeaway-y.
