I have given a link to this before, but I wanted to give you an expanded post on my favourite family history magazine. I have tried several magazines and while they all have their merits, I think that Your Family Tree is the best all rounder.
The mag has a really good, supportive online forum where users can share their research, ask questions and ask for helping in breaking down brick walls and all the extra resources that used to come on a CD on the front are now accessible online, which is a lot tidier!
My favourite parts of the magazine are, of course, the features but also the case studies submitted by readers – there are some really fascinating family trees out there!
I also find the book reviews pretty handy as I’ve discovered some new titles that relate to my own research by reading that section.
I may be biased about this magazine as they published my email about World War 2 service records, but it’s definitely one I look forward to receiving every month.
