I’ve been a little lax on Meal Planning recently having, frankly, no inclination to keep up the good work. But after having not really mentioned it to many people, I feel a bit more like I can spill the beans and say I joined Slimming World (again) a month ago, so I’ve had to be a bit more prepared to cook healthy meals and I’ve so far lost just over a stone. Hopefully the downward trend will continue and on behalf of that, this week we will be eating:
Tandoori Chicken, Saag, Mint dip
Chicken with Dijon marinade
Steak with pepper sauce
Garlic Prawns for me – Freezer special for the others
Salmon and Jacket Spud
Bacon Double Cheeseburger
All of these meals have been taken from either the Slimming World website, where I’m following the online plan – the thought of having to go to a group is my worst nightmare – or the Fast Cook recipe book that is companion to The Fast Diet. I bought that figuring that the low calorie recipes are, essentially, made up of Slimming World’s free foods, it would be worth trying out.
So, hopefully this will be another losing week with this food, but there are only 6 things as on Sunday I’ll be going to the European Premiere of Divergent in London, so don’t know yet what food will be available. I don’t plan to splurge, and have a good idea of what I shouldn’t consider, so hopefully that will do!!
