It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper meal plan – this may have something to do with my spectacular failure to make any progress with Slimming World, and also with the huge increase in our food bill. So – I’m making a real effort to tackle both by making a proper commitment to meal planning.
This week, we’re still on school holidays, so it’s all a bit up in the air but we will be eating this:
Sausage, mash and gravy
Baked Sea bass
Cheese-stuffed Chicken, wrapped in bacon
Homemade Chicken Nuggets
Freezer Leftovers – I have some chilli and bolognese floating about in there!
Slimming World Pulled Pork
Ready Meals – This is for next Monday night, our swimming lesson night, so it’s all a bit rushed. Luckily SW now do a range of ready meals for me, and the kids like the Asda Kids pasta dishes.
So that’s it – hopefully I won’t need to venture to the shops again this week, given I’ve just placed a £101 order. Once we’ve kept to the meal planning for a while, we’ll see if we can get that bill down a bit more, but small steps…
